The Danish Hildegard Ensemble presents religious medieval music from different centuries and traditions. Gregorian music both from the Roman Mass and from the Book of Hours. Songs by Hildegard of Bingen and by the Swedish saint, Brigitta of Vadstena. The album is all vocal with no background instruments, and is recorded in Veng Church, Denmark in June 2006.
